tacos de camarones

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of shrimp
  • 1 or 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons of seasoning such as Maggi sauce/Avecrem/Bovri
  • The juice of two lemons
  • 1/4 cup of Cardenal Mendoza
  • 2 teaspoons of chopped parsley
  • Wheat pancakes
  • Production:

Place the shrimp in a bowl with the seasoning, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Let marinate in the refrigerator for one hour.

While we chop the peppers and mince the parsley, we pour them into a bowl, add lemon juice and salt, and set them aside for later.

Now it’s time for the pancakes—or tortillas, as they’re called in Mexico—heat them in the oven or a skillet for a few minutes.

In another skillet with hot oil, add the shrimp and fry for 3 minutes. Then add the Cardenal Mendoza brandy and let it evaporate.

Now all that’s left is to assemble the tacos: place the tortillas on the plate, and add the shrimp and peppers with the parsley. Et voilà—ready to eat!
