Brandy from Jerez is once again the starting point for the 6th International Micro-Story Contest organized by Sánchez Romate, following the success of the previous five editions. The goal of the Contest is to foster creativity in relation to this product, which is so highly regarded around the world. Thus, the theme is open, provided that the micro-story mentions Jerez brandy in some way.
For this call for entries, the prize amounts are as follows:
The First Prize will consist of 700 euros and a bottle of
Cardenal Mendoza Non Plus Ultra Brandy from Jerez
and a case of Sánchez Romate sherry.
The second-place winner will receive a prize of 500 euros, a bottle of Cardenal Mendoza Carta Real brandy from Jerez, and a case of Sánchez Romate sherry.
The Third Prize will consist of 400 euros, a bottle of Cardenal Mendoza Clásico, and a case of Sánchez Romate sherry.
In addition, the jury will award the Cardenal Mendoza Non Plus Ultra mention to the micro-story that best enhances the image of Jerez brandy, and the author will receive a bottle of Cardenal Mendoza Non Plus Ultra as a trophy.

The submission deadline is October 10, 2017, and the winners will be announced during Cardenal Mendoza Golden Week, between October 25 and 31.
