Chicken in Brandy with Rosemary

Flambé the brandy to brown an exquisite free-range chicken seasoned with rosemary and show the world who’s boss in the kitchen. Chicken with brandy and rosemary is a recipe everyone will love—easy to prepare and incredibly flavorful!

How to prepare it? Here’s how:

Ingredients:

  • 3 free-range chicken thighs with drumettes
  • 1/2 Glass of Cardenal Mendoza Brandy
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 7 cloves of garlic
  • 3 Onions
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 large sprig of fresh rosemary
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper
  • Production method:

    1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, brown it in a skillet with olive oil, and set it aside.
  • In the same oil, sauté the onion and garlic.
  • When it starts to soften, turn up the heat, add the Cardenal Mendoza Brandy, and flambé.
  • When the flame goes out, lower the heat again, add the chicken, sugar, and chicken broth, and let it simmer covered for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, add the rosemary, turn the meat over, cover, and let it cook for another 15 minutes.
  • Lunchtime. Enjoy your meal!
  • Prawns in Brandy

    A perfect recipe for summer—tasty and easy to make. So don’t wait any longer and get started on this dish that makes your mouth water just thinking about it.

    Ingredients:

    • 24 frozen prawns (preferably large ones)
  • 150 ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 150 ml Cardenal Mendoza Brandy
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Coarse salt
  • Production method:

    1. Place the prawns in a shallow baking dish in two layers, add coarse salt, peeled garlic cloves, olive oil, Cardenal Mendoza Brandy, and lemon juice, and let them marinate for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C, place the prawns inside, and cook for 10 minutes (though the time will depend on the size of the prawns).
  • Remove from the oven and serve.
