This year, we will celebrate the 130th anniversary of the constitution of the first Solera of our brandy Cardenal Mendoza (1887), a source of pride and a reason for celebration for us. To commemorate this anniversary, we will establish an annual week, such as the week “Cardenal Mendoza“We will call these seven days as “Cardenal Mendoza International Golden Week” and will take place every year during the last seven days of November.
This year the “Golden Week” will be from November 23 to 30, 2016.
This initiative will help us all improve, strengthen, maintain, and promote brand awareness. It will focus primarily on our presence on social media, allowing us to build an international community to strengthen our relationships with existing customers and reach potential new ones.
The strategy of this campaign is directed in two directions:
-ONLINE, through a new website www.cardenalmendoza.com#atfp_close_translate_span# and the linked social networks of FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER. We will create current content and dynamic promotions that strengthen the consumer community of Cardenal Mendoza under the motto “Art of living”.
-OFF LINE, We must concentrate during the week “Golden Week” Various promotional activities in different countries, such as seminars, tastings, events, parties, sponsorships, etc., will be undertaken to maximize news coverage and media buzz. These events are already in the works and will include, for example, an evening with cocktails Cardenal Mendoza In Miami, USA, a Brandy masterclass comparing it to Cognac; in Puerto Rico, a contest called Perfect Serve will search for the best bartender; also in Colombia, a blind tasting will take place, and hundreds of other events remain to be announced.
The two most important events during “Golden Week” 2016 will be:
- MENDOZA CUP. A photography competition focused on social media, in which the winner will receive a 24K gold cup valued at €17,000, to be awarded during the “Golden Week”. We will be sending out the competition rules soon, which will also be available through the website.
- MICRO-STORY COMPETITION Cardenal Mendoza. This action has been taking place for four years and its ruling in 2016 will also take place during the “Golden Week”.
