How to participate?
Starting on August 15, 2016, a three-month international photography competition will begin to find a winner for this extraordinary prize.
Participants must take a photograph that illustrates their interpretation of our motto “Art of Living”, understood as “the art of living well” or “the best things in life”.
The winner will be chosen during the first week of December through a combination of public votes and a jury that will judge the photographic creativity.
The winner of the Gold Cup will be invited to travel to Jerez de la Frontera with a friend in early 2017 to receive the prize at the Bodegas de Cardenal Mendoza.
Photographs must be submitted through the new websitewww.cardenalmendoza.comor through social media using the hashtag #copamendoza.
Competition prizes totaling over 17,000 euros
The solid Gold Cup of Cardenal Mendoza It is made by a local artisan from Jerez de la Frontera. It is crafted from 22-karat gold, weighs 250 grams, and measures approximately 110mm x 80mm.
In addition to the main prize of this solid gold cup, there will be three more prizes for the photographs that receive the most votes during the months of September, October, and November. Each monthly winner will receive a bottle of Cardenal Mendoza Non Plus Ultra, our Cardenal Mendoza older with an age greater than 50 years.
Only 800 bottles of this exclusive brandy are bottled annually from the 38 casks of this Solera Unique. Each bottle is worth 500 euros.
Cardenal Mendoza Golden Week from November 24th to 30th, 2016
The final week of the competition will coincide with the so-called Cardenal Mendoza Golden Week.
